Operations

The San Francisco Bar Pilots are mandated by the State of California to provide pilotage service in the San Francisco Bay and tributaries. To accomplish this critical work, the San Francisco Bar Pilots coordinate closely with vessel agents and other maritime companies to ensure that the movement of the vessels is accomplished safely and efficiently.
